France has a very good healthcare system but, like anywhere in the world, it might seem quite complex to comprehend. We will explain you a bit more about it here and, if need be, we will help you choose and enrol in the right healthcare organisation.

Sécurité Sociale

Anyone residing permanently and/or being employed in France is automatically enrolled in the national healthcare system : La Sécurité Sociale. This will cover (integrally or partially) most of the health care costs you might have to come across.

Mutuelle

Once enrolled at La Sécurité Sociale, you will have to subscribe a private complementary health insurance policy (Mutuelle). This will cover most of the costs the Sécurité Sociale would not integrally reimburse you. There are many different Mutuelles to choose from so we will take time to find the one best suited for you.

Medical Appointments

We are also here to assist you in taking any medical appointments and, should you wish, accompany you to any visit to translate and communicate with doctors and health workers.
